Esmeralda has founded and led significant ventures in México and Australia, her second home, for more than 15 years of fruitful career in Corporate Social Responsibility, Diversity & Inclusion, for which she is the first Latin American woman recognized as ‘100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders’ and the ‘Global CSR Leadership Awards’.
Aligned to her purpose of generating sustainable societal contribution, she founded DT Latina and created the Model for Inclusive Leadership ‘AUTHENTIC LEADERS FOR ALL’.
She’s also been appointed as Head of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the Australia, New Zealand and Mexico Chamber of Commerce- ANZMEX.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from ITESM, an MBA from Anahuac University and diplomas from global institutions, such as Stanford Graduate School of Business (in Diversity & Inclusion studies), University of Illinois at Chicago (in Corporate Social Responsibility studies) and Swinburne University in Australia (in Communication studies).
Esmeralda is an active promoter of older people’s wellbeing having studied a Diploma in Geriatrics and Gerontology, as well as other related topics. She is a passionate sportswoman and a professional singer. She enjoys quality time with her large family as well as jogging with her little dog.
