Jesús has more than 30 years of experience providing advisory and consulting services within firms called “Big Four” (KPMG and Deloitte). He has led projects in Process Improvement, Sarbanes Oxley, Corporate Governance under LMV and LGSM, IPOs, Institutionalization of Family Businesses,, COSO/ERM Control Frameworks, ISO31000, Forensic Reviews (fraud), FCPA (anti-corruption), AML, ISO22301.

In Sustainability, he has led projects related to the generation of Sustainability reports under GRI standards, Materiality Studies, Equator Principles, CO2 Inventories (GHG), Environmental and Social Due Diligence. All under various standards such as GRI, AA1000, SA8000, ISAE3000, OSHA, ASTM E1527, ODS among others.

He worked for 2 years at KPMG NY in the United States and has led projects in 7 LATAM countries. In Mexico, he has collaborated with national and international clients in diverse industries such as Fibers, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Construction and Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Energy, Services, Auto Parts, Insurance, among others.

He was elected and served as President of the United Nations Global Compact in Mexico, for the biennium 2016-2018.

He has more than 150 publications in national and international newspapers and magazines, and has participated in round tables of radio and television programs.

He has been part of Boards and Committees, in various companies and institutions such as IMCP and IMEF as well as foundations. He is a founding partner at ASG RISK.

He has a degree in Accounting from the Universidad Panamericana and a master’s degree in Economic and Financial Engineering from Universidad La Salle México.

Jesus is a curious person. He likes outdoor activities, barbecues and sports. He is a pet lover. He is passionate about the creation of shared value and a believer that for a true change, it is necessary to evolve to a collective consciousness.
