Brenda Zayola

Financial Inclusion & Public Policy Consultant

Brenda has more than 10 years of experience in Public Administration, Design and Implementation of Public Policies in Financial Services, as well as in Development of Programs in Financial Education and Business Incubation with a gender perspective. 

She has held various positions in the federal and local government, the latest being as Commercial Deputy General Director at INFONACOT, as well as in the legislative functions and diplomatic relations of this organization. She is currently a consultant at DT Latina.

He has received various awards, such as: 50 best mentors by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Leader of Innovation, Finext Awards & Conference.

Brenda has collaborated as an Adjunct Professor at the Universidad Panamericana and has been a mentor in various programs, such as: the International Boot Camp, in the High Impact Mentor Network program of the Universidad Panamericana and in the Startupbootcamp Fintech in Latin America by Finnovista.

She collaborated in the Study on Microcredit Interest Rates in Mexico, prepared by PRONAFIM, TRIPLE JUMP, IFC-WORLD BANK, SPARKASSENSTIFTUNG, FAS, IDB-FOMIN.

She has a Master’s degree in Social Responsibility from the Anahuac University and a degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the UNAM. In addition, he has studies in finance and fintech from ITAM.

Brenda is passionate about financial inclusion and programs with a gender focus. Its purpose is to contribute with its experience to improve the public policies of its country to make a positive change in vulnerable groups and promote economic and social balance. The activities she enjoys the most are running, hiking, reading, traveling and having a good cup of coffee.
